Scream records the moment when bonds are cast off and women remove the ties of censorship from their personal histories. Today, women’s voices are jeopardized by our current power structure. The long, hard-fought fight for women's rights is in question.

Every woman has felt the displeasure of being silenced, no matter how great or small the silencing. In my own life, I experienced the implication that I was not to do or say many things because I was female and “nice girls“ do not act that way. I have spent a lifetime working on speaking up. Hear me scream.
