This work represents an avalanche of powerful forces rolling down to oppress women. Now more than ever, repression of women's rights, attempts to control reproduction, sexual attacks, and work inequalities are coming from many sources in society. But power can be used by both sides.
The piece can also be seen as representing the force of women's power. We must use our powers, not militarily, but by our numbers, organizing protests, and supporting and electing women legislators. Firstly, we must speak out about abuses and support all women who do speak out. We must not shut up.
