These pieces are all part of a larger group of work done in conjunction with and relating to my painting, God created for The Sister Chapel Project in 1979. These book pages are an artistic and fact based look into the origins of our concepts of God. In the past, and for 40,000 years, people saw and worshipped only female gods. Michelangelo clearly depicted God as a man. For most religions today man is master by divine right. Are we females equal? It is something we need to give thought to and not something we should “Shut Up” about.
